Delete your Caelo account

You can delete your Caelo account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Caelo and go to your Profile.
2. Tap Settings (the gear icon).
3. Open Account Actions → Delete Account.
4. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first, to prove it's you.

Want a copy of your data first? Use Settings → Data & Privacy → Download My Data before deleting.

Without the app

Email support@mycaelo.com from the email address you use for Caelo, with the subject "Delete my Caelo account" and your username if you know it. To protect your account we'll confirm the request with you by email before deleting, and we'll let you know when it's done — normally within 7 days, and never later than 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in, profile (username, name, photo, bio, date of birth, country, city) and settings.
• Your wishlists, items and photos, your circles and collabs you own, your memberships, follows, likes, saves and notifications.
• Your name and photo in other people's notifications, activity, lists and pending follow requests.

This happens straight away when you delete in the app.

What is kept

• Comments you posted on other people's wishlists stay, so their conversations still make sense, but they show "Deleted account" instead of your name and photo.
• Limited records we must keep for security, abuse prevention or legal reasons — for example content reports and moderation logs — for no longer than necessary.
• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and our subscription processor (RevenueCat), as required for billing and tax. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.
